icon_tutorialLooked through the memories, didn't see anything like this. Please correct me if I'm wrong!

I received a copy of Photoshop Elements 8 for Christmas, and have been fiddling with it. However, I cannot seem to find the "Channel Mixer" anywhere. Am I blind, or is there no channel mixer? If there isn't, where can I find a plug?

Also, does anyone know of a good Curves plug that has the ability to tweak "Input" and "Output"? Thanks!

icon_tutorial I want to make a GIF out of a video but when I go to File > Import > Video Frames To Layers and select my video, this is what appears:



It`s just white and the video doesn`t apper.
The format of the video is .AVI if that`s any help.

But when I try other videos in the same format, the video appears. 

*To get the video, I captured it using KM Player because the whole video was too long. ( It`s a movie. )

How do I fix this?

icon_tutorialErm, nevermind. Got the rules mixed up.

I have very recently had to re-install Vista on my laptop and lost all my icon psds/etc. So I am trying to work out how I got the colouring on the following icons. I know the colouring came from a tutorial, and it consisted of three selective colouring layers (the same one, duplicated twice) but after searching my tutorial memories, I can't find it. I used the same colouring on all three icons.



ETA - the selective colouring layers brightened the image as well as giving it the colouring, if that helps.

icon_tutorialI've been capping DVDs with Cyberlink PowerDVD 8 for over half a year, but now I'd like to cap video clips (stored on my hard drive), and the only thing that is saved when I press the cap button is a 0-byte blank file. Does PowerDVD only cap DVDs, or is it possible to cap files as well? (Note: I just tried to cap from a DVD and it worked, so my program IS working.)
